Just a few short Items on the Agenda. __I've added a few new changes to the LPC forum. I was getting tired of looking at the default theme, so I upgraded. It's not the exact same colors, but its close enough. I also added a nice little graphic that Adam had created. I have been too lazy for the past, what 2 years, so I hope you like it. __For anyone who plays BF2, you probably already know that there seems to be an influx of retards since school has let out. I know how frustrating it can be when stupid shit happens. Well, here is a nifty video that just cracks me up. The Pwned Life by Hudson Studios. I must give cutos to these folks for making such a wonderful video, that perfectly captures the essence of BF2 and the ass-monkies who play it. Check it out, and DISCUSS it on the forums! Ring in the New Year with some digital destruction. __Well, it's finally 2006. I guess that means I can post some new news on the website. The LAN Party seemed to go well, we changed our format a little bit to accomodate the non-gamers among us. All and all, it was a blast as usual, and it is always fun to see friends who we never get to see. But now, school has started again, and we're all stuck in our respective dwellings ready to greet the new year with fresh frags. __This can only be underscored by everyone's excitement for the new Battlefield 2 patch. With v1.2 looming, fans are awaiting the stupendous bug fixes. Earlier today, I heard reports that the new BF2 booster pack. It was being delayed, therefore possibly delaying the 1.2 pach and the much needed fixes. This probably comes as no surprise to most gamers, who now expect game developers to consistantly lie to our faces and then push release dates back to the stone age. __I guess what I'm trying to say here, is that as gamers, we are tired of half-baked bullshit. Don't tell us that you are going to release something, and then yank it away from us just before. Don't make us pay 50 bucks for something that isnt finished. Don't get me wrong, I love BF2. But the game is in a state of disrepair. It seems that hackers and smacktards have infiltrated many servers with their radar hacks and jet-whoring. Something needs to be done soon. I want to hear from you on the forum.
Latest Addition to Battlefield Franchise Hits Store Shelves with a BANG! __ Since 2002, gamers have been enthralled in the online destruction that is Battlefield 1942. DICE's World War II online shooter has spawned a thriving mod community, equaling that of the original Half-Life. Now, its protégé has stepped into the spotlight, basking in the glory of a new physics and graphics engine, and supporting up to 64 players via internet play, battles become a frenetic ballet of bullets and bombs. __EA has definitely pushed the envelope of the genre this time. New additions to the battlefield include: squads complete with Voice Over IP, a commander class that allows a player to give orders to squads, drop supplies for defending troops, and set artillery strike to pummel the opposing force, along with a plethora of over 30 vehicles, and a wide selection of maps in a range of environments. No Posts = No Activity __Sorry to keep you all waiting. I have been so busy with school for the past sememster that it was almost rediculous. But now summer is here, and I have plenty of time to spare. So it looks like that I will be keeping closer tabs on the webpage. I have been working behind the scenes to come up with a fresh layout using the new LPC logos. Marc is coming home from leave, so don't forget to say hi. Also, the LPC Summer Event is in the works. Disucssions are being held currently to decided the fate of the next LAN Party. We are also looking for bowlers. If anyone readys this, please contact me via email.
