Best Gaming Story:
I guess most of my memorable gaming stories go back to when I used to play multiplay with my buddy Chris, known to you all as Grae from the LPC. This was back in a time when having a 14.4 kbps modem was considered fast. We used to get on our computers and call each other up to play a two player dial up game of Hexen. We would stay up really late and go through the game on cooperative mode every night until we beat it. If anyone has played Hexen all the way trough, you know what I mean when I say that game is tedious. Anyway, when it started getting around the time when both of us needed to go to bed, we would warp to a certain map. This map had a room with two ice bridges that were right next to each other. These bridges where over a very deep crevice in the map. We used to get onto the bridges and face each other and then count to three and jump off together. It would take about 3-5 seconds to fall, I can't really remember, but it was a long drop. I don't know why, but we both thought that was freakin' hilarious. So, we did that over and over again just about every night we played. We would even create variations in the different ways we could fall. We would turn ourselves into pigs and then jump off the bridges, squeeling all the way down. Until.......SPLAT!!! time to make some bacon! I don't know why, but the memory of that has always stuck in my head when it comes to my computer gaming experiences. I am sure Chris would agree, waaaaassssssssssuupppppp!! |-|3X3|\| woot!! Heres to you Hexen, cooperative gaming will never be the same.
